Facility Tours

The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Authority is committed to providing a valuable educational experience that focuses on learning the importance of wastewater treatment in protecting the public health and the environment. To encourage learning, the Authority offers public tours of our facility by reservation Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

We welcome both children (10 or older) and adults on our tours. To ensure school groups get the best and most informative experience we ask that you include your school name, classroom size and grade and any special areas of interest when your request your tour.

Tour Safety: Visitors are required to wear clothing that is appropriate for an industrial environment. Closed-toes shoes are mandatory. Sandals, flip-flops or open toe/open heel shoes are prohibited. For the safety of our guests, any individual not appropriately dressed will be asked to refrain from participating in the tour.
